Located in the heart of Sonoma Downtown, The Girl & The Fig does not disappoint. They were very busy with over an hour wait when we got there. Luckily they had a great setup where they text you when the restaurant is ready for you. So we put our name in and decided to taste some wines next door on the patio at Roche Winery and Vineyard while we waited, and believe me that hour flew by. When we got back, we were seated in the outdoor patio that was warm and welcoming. The menu looked fantastic and no one could decide so we went and got a bunch of dishes so we could all split.
The mussels, and french fries had so much flavor yet never felt like it was overpowering at all. And the burger, oh that burger might
be one of the best ones i've ever had. And I live in Berkshire county, where they know their beef. The meat melted in my mouth and with the buttery crispy bun that held it, I had to stop in between bites just to savor each and every moment. Needless to say The Girl & The Fig was one of our favorite stops. Recommended to us by Frame 2 Table and we were so thankful we got to squeeze room into our busy trip for this gem.
